FEBRUARY 2010
Dr. Brown and team took part in a 2 day continuing education seminar in Richmond called Dental Boot Kamp. Dental educators from Austin and California presented interactive training to improve our communication and listening skills in order for us to communicate more effectively with you our patients.

AUGUST 2009
Dr. Brown and all of his team took part in a day long continuing education seminar in Houston on Periodontal (gum) disease and the treatment options available.  Dr. Brown is committed to making sure each team member understands the importance of treating periodontal disease and the connection this disease has to a patient's overall health. More and more clinical studies are being done to verify the link between gum disease and heart disease, diabetes, stroke, respiratory diseases and preterm infants.

APRIL 2009
Dr. Brown and his entire dental team has just returned from two days of intensive dental continuing education to better serve you! The Star of the South dental  meeting was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston and attended by hundreds of dentists and their staff. The conferences our team attended ranged from pediatric to geriatric dentistry, certifications in sedation services, insurance strategies that work for you the patient, and technical dental skills to provide excellent clinical care. Everyone came home with nuggets of information that will help us better serve you.

APRIL 2009
Dr. Brown also participated in the 3 day Excellence in Dentistry conference in Destin, FL. While Destin is a beautiful place to visit, most of his time was spent in conferences that were enlightening and a very useful adjunct to his dental practice. But the best part of the trip was getting to see his oldest son, Wayne, wife, Holly, and his four grandkids, Kirsten, Isaac, Isabella, and Kinsey Joy who reside in Destin!
